Homemade dumplings from scratch

Ingredients
  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 4 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp parsley flake
  • 1 cup milk
Instructions
  1. Mix flour, salt, baking powder, garlic powder and parsley together in a bowl.
  2. Add butter and cut into flour using a pastry cutter
  3. Slowly add the milk until the dough starts to come together. The dough should be a little wetter and stickier than a biscuit dough.
  4. Spoon by the teaspoon onto simmering stew and cook for 12-15 minutes, or until cooked to desired doneness.
